Gabriela and Benito start having problems in their marriage when Benito, a military man, returns from the field and finds his wife seemingly disconnected from the real world. Dreams and fancies have taken her to the point where she has more faith in what the Moon says than in her real husband. Her 14-year-old neighbor, Martin, follows her and gives her the romance she would like from Benito, and her Cat and the Coyote in the desert painfully remind her of what a sincere and uncomplicated relationship means.
