In December 2021, Arte dell’Anima Association implements the cultural-educational project “Let’s start reading”, a project funded within the Start NGO program, launched by Kaufland Romania and implemented by Act For Tomorrow Association. Arte dell’Anima Association continues the 2021 series of projects dedicated to children and adolescents.
The aim of “Let’s start reading” project is to bring the spirit of the winter holidays to kids from the placement centers. Institutionalized children need not only products, but also attention, love, and experience that will contribute to their development as future adults. This emotional need is accentuated during the holidays, when there is an increase in the promotion of the family image in the public space. The project “Let’s start reading” involves reading Christmas stories by professional actors, for institutionalized children from the centers belonging to the General Directorate of Social Assistance and Child Protection Sector 1, the project partner. The project will take place online, taking into account the regulations regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.
Arte dell’Anima Association is an independent cultural space, which through continuous efforts has managed for six years to find the human, logistical and financial resources to become a promoter of culture in the community. In the 6 years of activity, the association has successfully implemented several cultural and educational projects, both from its own funds and with non-reimbursable funding. Since 2015, over 300 students have graduated our personal development courses through theatrical techniques.
Start NGO is a program launched by Kaufland Romania and implemented by the Act for Tomorrow Association. The targeted areas are: education, health, environment, social and culture. The total value of the program is 500,000 euros. The Start NGO program is the simplest Community funding instrument for young NGOs, non-administrative institutions and informal / initiative groups.
